Plan a Field Trip: Bring your class!
A field trip to the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland Learning Center and Money Museum is the perfect companion to your curriculum. Visits may be customized, but a typical visit lasts about two hours and includes two parts:
Tour of the Money Museum
A docent will lead your class through more than 25 hands-on exhibits that enable students to discover answers to basic questions:
- What is money?
- Why do we have it?
- How has it changed over time?
- Who’s in charge of money?
Classroom-Style, Interactive Program
Your class will have a one-hour interactive lesson in the Learning Center classroom on a topic of your choice, for example:
- Inflation
- Saving and spending
- Barter
- The Federal Reserve System
Although the exhibits are designed for visitors of all ages, our education programs and activities are designed especially for students in grades 4 and up.
To plan your field trip send an e-mail to the Learning Center or call 216-579-3188.
