Treasury Retail Securities: Savings Bonds, Treasury Bills, and Treasury Bonds
As a fiscal agent for the United States government, the Federal Reserve supports Treasury Retail Securities (TRS) by issuing, redeeming, and servicing savings bonds and marketable securities (investments that can be resold to the public).
