Deputy Director
Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program (EKCEP)

Bridget Back currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program (EKCEP). In this role, she oversees and coordinates all workforce services, creating innovative programs for the region’s employers and jobseekers and ensuring that programs comply with state and federal regulations. Her leadership has been instrumental in advancing the EKCEP’s mission to enhance employment opportunities and economic growth in the region.

Back is a seasoned workforce development executive with over 15 years of experience in the field. She has a distinguished track record of securing and managing grants and building  and implementing effective workforce development programs. Before joining the EKCEP, Back gained valuable experience in the manufacturing and customer service industries, enriching her workforce development approach. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Strayer University and an MBA from Union Commonwealth University. In addition, Back holds several workforce development industry credentials: She is certified as a global career development facilitator and is also a certified career services provider, certified workforce development professional, and certified business services consultant.

Back is also an active member of her community. She has been recognized for her dedication and service with several awards including the Pony Award for Exceptional Service and the Who’s Who of Professional Working Women Award.
